The rules do require you to carry renters' insurance listing the house as a named insured for liability reasons. Renters' insurance can be purchased from an insurance agent, often the same one your parents use for relatively little expense
The cost of pets at the houses vary depending on the durability of the flooring as well as other market factors. The price is $50-$75 per month for the first pet, second pets are 1/2 price.
Well behaved cats or dogs are allowed, but must be registered with the landlord and pet fee prepaid before the animal is allowed on the property. Once a pet is alloued, the pet fee must be paid through the end of the lease. (No discount for holiday breaks or periods where pet leaves). IE: this is not an agreement that can be turned on/off at will to save money. It can be canceled in the event of the death of the pet.
Honesty is a cornerstone of our landlord/tenant relationship, to sneak a pet onto the property as a "Visit" or "pet-sitting" will not only diminish our trust in you, it will result in much closer future monitoring and also you will be assessed a MINIMUM of one months' pet fee. So let's be honest.
If you must pet-sit, fill out the form, have the owner pay the small fee and let's do this correctly so we don't damage a great relationship! If handled IN ADVANCE of pet sitting on premise only those days the pet will be there will be charged. Please value our relationship as much as we do!

"Pet-sitting or "visit" is $5.00/each day, limit 7 days with pre-approval. Entire monthly fee will be charged if prior approval was not obtained.
